Our Mission
The Cherry Commission is a public education platform dedicated to accurate, accessible, and science-backed information on CBD, cannabis, and cannabinoid-based wellness. Founded in the spirit of public service, our goal is to help individuals, families, healthcare professionals, and policymakers understand the evolving role of cannabis in modern health.
Our History
Originally referencing the Lieutenant Governor’s Commission on Higher Education and Economic Growth, the Cherry Commission has been reimagined to meet today’s critical need for trusted cannabis education. While the industry grows rapidly, misinformation and marketing hype often cloud the facts. We aim to cut through that noise.
What We Do
We research and report on:
- Scientific findings around cannabinoids like CBD and CBG
- State and federal policy updates on cannabis legalization and hemp regulation
- Consumer safety standards, including third-party testing, labeling, and usage guidance
- Public health implications of expanded access to cannabis-based products
Who We Serve
- Health-conscious individuals
- Caregivers and patients exploring alternative options
- Small business owners in the hemp/CBD industry
- Educators, students, and public policy advocates
How We’re Funded
The Cherry Commission does not accept paid product placements or sponsorships that influence our editorial content. Any partner acknowledgments are based on alignment with safety, education, and transparency principles.
